Post-medieval button: 15th Kings Light Dragoons button
Description
English: A complete but slightly worn cast copper alloy button of the 15th (King's) Light Dragoons, dating from c. AD 1769-1807 and therefore dating to the reign of George III. The button has an eight pointed star on the front with the inner zone bearing the name of the regiment; K over L . D over 15. The integral reverse shank is a simple copper alloy wire loop.
