Post-medieval buckle: Spectacle buckle
Description
English: A complete copper alloy double looped buckle dating to the post-medieval period. The buckle has two D-shaped loops separated by and sharing the central recessed strap and pin bar. The reverse is flat and there is no decoration. This type of buckle dates from c. AD 1500-1650.
