Post-medieval buckle: Buckle fragment
Description
English: A fragment of a cast copper alloy post-medieval buckle, dating to the period AD 1500-1650. The buckle is the type with a recessed strap bar and swollen frame junction - here the remains of the frame junction and the recessed strap bar is all that remains. For similar see Whitehead (2003) p28-29.
