Post-medieval asymmetrical buckle
Description
English: An asymmetrical copper-alloy buckle frame of probable late 16th to late 17th century AD date (R. Whitehead, 1996, p. 91).
 One side of the frame is roughly D-shaped and the other side is trapezoidal. There is a central axis bar which projects into a lobe at the top and bottom. The inner edges of the frame are slightly bevelled and are rough and poorly finished. The pin is missing.
 
Overall, the object measures 26.8mm long by 18.8mm wide and 2.6mm thick. It weighs 3.06g.
