Description |
English: Post-Medieval (probably) cast lead alloy token or medalet with faint relief-moulded decoration. One side shows a horse and rider going right, the rider possibly brandishing a ?sword behind him, and with an S to the left of the head and a retrograde C to the right. The other side bears an orb and cross (imperial orb / Reichsapfel / globus cruciger) within an inner cricle and with a legend around [...]F[...] (F at 9 o'clock). No evidence of a suspension loop. Brown-cream patina. Appears to have been bent and straightened. Diameter 35.5mm, thickness 2.5mm-3.3mm, weight 23.88g. |
