Post-Medieval double-loop asymmetrical buckle
Description
English: A copper-alloy double-loop asymmetrical buckle of probable post-Medieval date.

One side of the frame is 'D-shaped' and has a pointed pin rest with moulding and transverse slot. The other side of the frame (damaged) is rectangular, steep-sided and has balluster mouldings on its vertical outer side, at the centre of which is a second pin slot. The underside of the buckle is flat and exhibit traces of a white-metal coating.

The buckle measures 20.9mm long, 15.1mm wide and 2.2mm thick. The weight is 2.11g.
