Post-Medieval double-loop asymmetrical buckle.
Description
English: A copper-alloy double-loop asymmetrical buckle of suggested 1575-1700 AD date (R. Whitehead; 1996; pp. 91, No. 573).

One of the two vertical sides is rounded, has a bevelled outer edge and an internal projection at the centre forming an expanded pin rest; the other side has vertical edges. The buckle appears undecorated. The central axis bar is of sub-circular section. The pin is missing.

The object measures 23.2mm high, 15.9mm wide, and 1.7mm thick. It weighs 1.2g.
