Title
Post-Medieval apothecaries' weight (probably)
Description
English: A corroded lead artefact which is probably an apothecaries’ weight. Another possibility is that it may be a token. The suggested date range is 16th to 18th century. The cast disc is sub-circular in plan. One side bears a relief-cast letter ‘F’ executed in reverse; the other side has the letters ‘MS’. The object measures 10.9mm in diameter, 2.2mm thick and weighs 1.41g.
