Post-Medieval apothecaries' weight
Description
English: A lead apothecaries' weight of post-Medieval weight. For a parallel for this weight, see Withers and Withers 1995: 65. The weight takes the form of a cast rectangular plate. Stamped into one surface is the letter 'E'; the reverse bears a number of parallel ridges. The weight is bent and corroded. It measures 12.5mm long, 12.2mm wide and 1.1mm thick. It weighs 1.83g.
