Description
English: Copper alloy nail cleaner. An elongated flat oval or teardrop-shaped plate with a slight constriction, a loop and a drilled hole of 6.7mm at one end; pointed at the other. The edge is lightly bevelled all round; diagonal file marks appear on both flat sides. The pointed end is slightly thinned, perhaps by wear. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1500-1650
