English: A copper-alloy medal or medallion commemorating Admiral Vernon and his victories at Porto Bello in 1739 AD. It measures 26.97mm in diameter and 4.88g in weight. This medal is of Post-Medieval date, c.1739 AD.

Obverse: ADMIRAL.VERNON.TOOK.PORTO.BELL.; Half length figure of Admiral Vernon left, left hand holding baton, right hand pointing to the left of the letter A in Admiral, all within an inner circle.

Reverse: *WITH*SIX*SHIPS*ONLY*NOV 22*1739* (quatrefoil stops); View of the port, six ships arranged 1 (right), 2, 3 in a row.
