Post-Medieval Fob Seal Matrix
Description
English: Copper alloy with gilding Fob Seal Matrix. Cast handle of essentially pyramidal form with strongly defined curls of vegetal ornament, here retaining gilding, tapering towards a round suspension loop. The handle rises from a hexagonal base retaining a circular clear colourless glass stone of diameter 11.6mm with its flat surface engraved with the name WILLIAMS in a flowing script. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1825-1900.

Height: 26.9mm, Width (base/matrix): 15.9mm, Weight: 7.68gms.
