Post-Medieval Brooch fragment
Description
English: Copper alloy and mid blue glass possible Brooch fragment. Openwork object of pressed metal, of triangular form with a central collet retaining a round bead of translucent mid blue glass, of diameter c.3.5mm surrounded by a possibly floral motif. This is presumed to be an item of trinket costume jewellery, though no fixing gear remains. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1850-1900.

Length: 27.7mm, Width: 23.4mm, Thickness (plate): 0.7mm, Diameter (setting for bead): 5.3mm, Weight: 1.70gms.
