Description
English: Copper alloy ?ear-ring, C-shaped in profile and D-shaped in section, tapering rather flat at one end (?for insertion into earlobe). Decoration is in the form of nine 2-3mm long sections separated by a groove. The underside is flat. At its thickest the object is 2.5mm. It then very gradually thins out to the opposite end. The patina is rather worn at the thinner end and brassy in colour. The rest of the object is a light green. Internal height 14mm. Probably late Roman.
