Title |
Possible Mesolithic Neolithic Pick |
||
Description |
English: A possibly broken pick or flaked/tranchet axe, possibly dating to the Mesolithic or the Neolithic (10000-2350BC). It weighs 258g and measures 112.49x58.68x35.69mm. It is a crudely flaked bifacial core tool with lateral break. It has a crude lenticular sub-triangular section. Made on elongate or tabular nodule, there is cortex remaining on both faces: partly white/blue-grey patination, with occasional orange ferrous blooms. |
