Transcript InfoField | Positano. Halfway between Sorrento and Amalfi on the beautiful coast of Southern Italy the town of Positano perches above the sea, terraces of houses clinging to the cliff, many of them empty ruins, for half Positano has emigrated to America, and the once flourishing seaport is a perishing place. Much fine coral can be gathered on the shore below the town after a spell of stormy weather. |
