Description iconographique:

Droit : tête laurée de Louis-Philippe gauche dans un médaillon; à gauche du médaillon, figure d'Hercule tenant la massue dans sa main droite; à droite du médaillon, allégorie de la Justice tenant une balance de la main gauche ; au-dessous, inscription sur trois lignes dans un motif de cuir découpé terminé en partie inférieure par un masque ; revers : en haut banderole portant l'inscription : "DROIT DES GENS" surmontant une couronne de feuilles de chêne ; dans le champ : façade du ministère des Affaires étrangères ; au-dessous, deux guirlandes de fruits jointes au centre par un masque.
