Summary
[edit]DescriptionPorzellan Augarten Vienna 2007 003.jpg |
This “green Chinoiserie” is based on Asian designs. Created in 1720, the “Prince Eugene” pattern is one of the oldest produced by the Vienna Porcelain Manufactory. Prince Eugene of Savoy, a famous commander and art-lover, ordered the first service with this pattern for the garden room of his Belvedere palace in Vienna.[2]
