Description

Portrait of Collett Leventhorpe, by Prince Studio, Washington, D.C., North Carolina Museum of History. Note: Firstly colonel of the 11th regiment, North Carolina troops, 1861, Leventhorpe became brigadier general in 1862 and served until the end of the Civil War. He died at his home near Patterson, Caldwell County, NC.
