Français : "Cette miniature représente le portrait en buste d'une jeune femme blonde vêtue d'une robe décolletée grise et blanche et coiffée d'un voile triangulaire gris ; ce costume est à rapprocher du demi-deuil, période pendant laquelle les tonalités sourdes (blanc, gris, brun) remplacent le noir du grand deuil. La coiffure arborée par le modèle ainsi que le costume renvoient au milieu du XVIIe siècle, ce qui pourrait indiquer que cette miniature constitue une copie d'une oeuvre non conservée du milieu du XVIIe siècle, identifiée comme une oeuvre d'un célèbre émailliste, Jean Petitot, protégé de Louis XIV." |
