Description
English: Childhood portrait bust of Napoléon Eugène Louis Jean Joseph Bonaparte (1856-1879), son of Napoleon III and his Empress consort Eugénie de Montijo. A crowned eagle bearing green laurel branches hovers above him. Beneath him are red, green, gold and black symbolic standards and heraldry along with oak and laurel branches. Centered in gold scrolling forms is the year 1867, enclosed in an oval with hanging pendants. Below is a red swag decorated with the French Legion of Honour medal.
