Description Detail view of the south side of the Portland Building (in downtown Portland, Oregon), showing part of the blue-green garland of faux ribbons, along the tops of the red terracotta pilasters. This ornamental design is found on the building's north and south façades. The photo was taken a few months before the start of a reconstruction of the building, which began in December 2017 and is expected to last about three years.
