Description
Français : Porte du Martray, Loudun (86). C'est la seule survivante des 4 portes composant l'enceinte de jadis, démantelée au XVIIe s.

On y percevait notamment l'octroi, taxe frappant certaines denrées alimentaires et marchandises à l'entrée des villes.

Comme d'autres monuments classés de la ville, telle la Tour Carrée, elle a bénéficié d'un important programme de restauration vers le milieu de décennie 2010.
