Description
Français : Devise d'Emile Gallé : "Ma racine est au fond des bois", gravée par l'ébéniste Eugène Vallin sur une porte en bois exécutée en 1897 pour les ateliers Gallé et installée en 1964 dans les jardins du Musée de l'École de Nancy. Décor stylisé de feuilles de marronier. Quatre influences principales : art médiéval, japonisme, naturalisme et rationalisme (Source : signalétique du Musée)
