| Description |
English: Detail of cimacio on the porche of the Church of San Pelayo in Arenillas de San Pelayo (Palencia, Castile and León). The porche is dramatically flared and consists of seven semicircular that inside to outside look successively archivolts: chequered jaqués, dowels decorated with figurines, thin and thick baquetón, another chequered jaqués, again baquetón thin and thick and outside another of thick baquetón. Apean in whole imposta that forms the cimacios the underlying capitals.
Español: Detalle de cimacio en la portada de la Iglesia de San Pelayo en Arenillas de San Pelayo (Palencia, Castilla y León). La portada es notablemente abocinada y se compone de siete arquivoltas de medio punto que de dentro a afuera lucen sucesivamente: ajedrezado jaqués, dovelas decoradas con figurillas, baquetón fino y grueso, otro ajedrezado jaqués, de nuevo baquetón fino y grueso y por fuera otra de grueso baquetón. Apean en imposta corrida que forma los cimacios de los capiteles subyacentes. |
