Italiano: Porta San Gennaro - Sulla Porta San Gennaro, a Napoli, è visibile - sia pure in condizioni conservative molto compromesse - l'unico affresco superstite di quelli realizzati da Mattia Preti su alcune porte della città come ex voto per la fine della pestilenza che nel 1656 colpì durissimamente Napoli uccidendo gran parte della sua popolazione. Gli affreschi vennero commissionati al pittore sul finire di quello stesso tragico anno |

La parte bassa della composizione invece variava in ogni singola porta e raffigurava eventi occorsi in città durante l'epidemia |
