Description
Italiano: Porta Modena sulle mura di Mirandola, costruita nel 1768 e abbattuta nel 1882.
Porta Modena si trovava alla fine dell'attuale via Roma, che all'epoca si chiamava via Montebello. La casa a sinistra, costruita nel XVII secolo e citata durante la guerra di successione spagnola del XVIII secolo era riservata alla guarnigione spagnola che aveva la funzione di controllare le merci e le persone in entrata ed in uscita da Mirandola. Il muro sulla destra faceva parte dell'abitazione dei Conti Greco che partendo da via Pico si estendeva fino a via Roma. Dopo l'abbattimento delle mura di Mirandola e di Porta Modena, vennero costruite le scuole elementari "Dante Alighieri" che dal 1905 al 2012 furono frequentate da tutti i mirandolesi.
