Summary
[edit]DescriptionPort Lewaigue looking northwards. - geograph.org.uk - 347850.jpg |
English: Port Lewaigue looking northwards. This small settlement on the rugged east coast of the Isle of Man was intended to become a resort of some importance, and as can be seen works were begun which would have given it a promenade. But it all came to nothing, and left Port Lewaigue as a peaceful place with little to disturb the seabirds. Incidentally, for those new to the Isle of Man, remember it is pronounced 'LEAGUE'. |
