English: Port Greville Light.
The lighthouse was built in 1907 overlooking the harbour. Port Greville was known for shipbuilding, here they built approximately 150 long liners, seiners, draggers and during World War II twelve wooden-hulled minesweepers for the British Admiralty. With the end of the harbor’s main industry, the Coast Guard decided to deactivate the lighthouse and trucked it to the Canadian Coast Guard College near Sydney. In 1998, the lighthouse was returned to Port Greville. After being reassembled and painted, the lighthouse was open to the public on the grounds of the Age of Sail Heritage Centre.
