| Description |
English: Port Askaig: Jura ferry and lifeboat The lifeboat can be seen to the left, behind the Port Askaig-Jura ferry which is operated by Argyll & Bute council. Jura is the only inhabited Hebridean isle whose vehicle ferry is not operated by Caledonian MacBrayne (CalMac). CalMac does operate the service from here to the mainland, and this picture is taken from the open deck of their large vessel. |
