Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Porlock Saltings This area is inundated at high tide due to a breach in the shingle ridge (1996). The area is slowly changing from farmland to salt marsh. The National Trust, who own & manage the area have taken the decision not to protect the area. A good example of managed retreat.
