Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The Poplar Bridge is the busiest and widest bridge in St. Louis carrying 4 Interstate Highways and 1 country shield route. The bridge's traffic was distributed slightly upon the opening of the New Mississippi River Bridge upstream. However, the bridge is still carrying more daily traffic than it was built for and may face replacement within the next 5-10 years.
