English: Pool of Pool Hill. Viewed from around 250 yards away to the west, Pool Hill itself is the heathery rise to the left.
The pool lies on the watershed between the Aran (left) and Lugg (right) river systems, both of which feed the Wye. I expect that run-off can go in both directions in times of heavy rainfall. See 6114 for the opposite view. |
