Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Pool atop Llanelly Hill This pool sits near the quarried northern edge of the scarp formed by a Middle Coal Measures sandstone. The twin mast of the WT station at Foxhunter car park, Blorenge can be made out in the distance. The pool is presumably man-made though other pools of similar appearance on Mynydd Llangynidr, Mynydd Llangatwg and Blorenge have formed as a result of subsidence due to limestone solution below.
