| Description | A Ponte da Panchorra, classificada como Monumento de Interesse Público desde 2013, integra o percurso turístico-cultural da Rota do Românico. Implantada a cerca de 1000 metros de altitude, unindo as margens do rio Cabrum, a Ponte da Panchorra é um belíssimo exemplo de arquitetura vernacular [tradicional]. Ponte de dois arcos, apresenta aparelho regular nas aduelas [pedras que formam o arco] e irregular na silharia [pedras] da restante estrutura, o que pode indicar um trabalho de mestres locais ou regionais, destinado a suprir as necessidades de acesso da comunidade às suas propriedades agrícolas e silvícolas. Nesse sentido, distancia-se em importância e técnica das suas congéneres, edificadas a jusante, nomeadamente as pontes de Ovadas, Lagariça e Nova, quase na foz do Cabrum. Não deixa, porém, de ser um exemplo de infraestrutura comunitária. A travessia aproveita os afloramentos das margens do rio para apoiar os seus pilares, sobre os quais assenta o tabuleiro horizontal com guardas, conferindo-lhe a robustez necessária à passagem de carros agrícolas e à circulação de gado. Embora a Panchorra seja referida já nas Inquirições[inquérito administrativo] de 1258, só no século XVI se separou do termo de Ovadas, onde se situava o antigo centro religioso da freguesia medieval.
