English: Original Image Description from Flickr-Page:

Head of rail of the rebuilding of the Welsh Highland Railway as of Tuesday 8th July 2008. This is Pont Croesor bridge. The track in view leads northwards through the gorgeous scenery of Snowdonia to Caernarfon. Behind me there is still a relatively small amount of track still to be laid before it reaches Porthmadog. Immediately behind me will be a level crossing over the B4410 north of Porthmadog and the trackbed is being prepared to the town. In Porthmadog itself, some track is already in place over some of the roads. It will end in the Ffestiniog Railway's station in Porthmadog as seen in Welsh Highland Railway Future connection at Porthmadog

If you are interested, there is very good web site at www.isengard.co.uk which updated almost every day with progress.
