| Description |
English: Ponies grazing on Vereley Hill, New Forest Vereley Hill is to the south of Picket Plain - this flat area has been cleared by burning and the commoners' stock are grazing on the regrowth. This area has the added benefit of being breezy, which helps to keep the flies away. These animals had been 'shading' on the Burley-Picket Post road earlier in the afternoon. |
