| Description |
English: Pond in Long Slade Bottom, New Forest There is only one valley here, running across the picture, with a stream along its bottom. Confusingly, the side nearer the camera is named Horseshoe Bottom and that beyond the stream Long Slade Bottom. This valley, which I presume was cleared and seeded at one time to improve grazing, is much used by dog walkers, ponies and cattle. |
