Description
Nederlands: Prentbriefkaart uit Brugge van brandweerlieden op een stoombrandspuit "Beduwé" getrokken door een paard. Afbeelding gemaakt aan het Jan van Eyckplein t.h.v. het Tolhuis. De benedenverdieping van het 15de-eeuwse Tolhuis werd van het einde van de 19de eeuw tot na de Tweede Wereldoorlog gebruikt als brandweerarsenaal. Item is deel van de collectie van het Stadsarchief Brugge onder inventarisnummer GM/32/0038.
English: Picture postcard from Bruges of firefighters on a steam fire engine "Beduwé" drawn by a horse. Picture was made at the Jan van Eyck Square near the Tollhouse. The lower floor of the 15th century Tollhouse was used as fire brigade arsenal from the end of the 19th century until after the Second World War. Item is a part of the collection of the Bruges City Archive under inventory number GM/32/0038.
