Bahasa Indonesia: Pompa Barsha adalah pompa yang tidak menggunakan energi fosil, ramah lingkungan, ditempatkan di sungai untuk mengangkat air ke dataran yang lebih tinggi. Pompa Barsha memanfaatkan energi air itu sendiri untuk mengangkat air dari sungai atau permukaan yang lebih rendah ke permukaan yang lebih tinggi. Pompa akan terus berputar sepanjang saat selama ada aliran air sungai.
Kekuatan pompa Barsha mampu memompa air sampai 80 ribu liter setiap hari dan bisa menaikkan air secara vertikal hingga 20 meter dengan jarak sejauh 2 km dari lokasi pompa Barsha. Di Indonesia pertama kali pompa Barsha dipasang di Pulau Sumba tepatnya di kabupaten Sumba Timur, NTT.
English: A Barsha pump is a pump that does not use fossil energy, environmentally friendly, placed in a river to lift water to a higher plateau. The pump Barsha utilizes the water energy itself to lift water from a river or a lower surface to a higher surface. The pump will continue to spin all the time as long as there is river water flow. Barsha power pumps are able to pump water up to 80 thousand liters every day and can raise water vertically up to 20 meters with a distance of 2 km from Barsha pump location. In Indonesia, the first time Barsha pumps were installed on Sumba Island precisely in the East Sumba District, NTT. |
