Summary
[edit]DescriptionPolyommatus erotulus molleti.jpg |
English: Polyommatus molleti (Carbonell, 1994), male.
There is a continuing discussion whether Polyommatus eros, Polyommatus eroides and Polyommatus erotulus species are the same species or not. However, according to FUNET's records molleti is one of subspecies of P. erotulus (P. erotulus molleti), some of resources considers it as a species: Polyommatus molleti. Its common name is Large Blue of Bolkar and Turkish name is Büyük Bolkar Mavisi. It is an endemic and rare species of Turkey which flies on the Bolkar Mountain (Bolkardagh) on Taurus chains in Southern Turkey. |
