Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The image explains the interaction between different polymers such as chitosan, gelatin dextran and dextran-dialdehyde. It is shown electrostatic interactions between oppositely charged groups of chitosan and gelatin (red and blue colour). Also it is shown the condensation reaction resulting in formation of Schiff's base group (green colour). More information about the process can be found in the paper by Berillo D. et al. Macromolecular bioscience 12 (8), P.1090-1099 (2012).
