Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The front of the Anlaby Park Community Library on the day between the 2023 local council elections and the coronation. Evidence of both occasions is on show, with a handy defibrillator for those driven to an embolism by either event.
As it turned out, both local democracy and monarchy proved minority interests, with only 22 per cent of the electorate turning out in Hull, and a mere 20 per cent "very or fairly likely" to watch the coronation (source: YouGov poll, 17 March 2023).
