Jones County Conservation District Secretary Val Feddersen, Murdo, SD, was working in the field on some trees for Ringneck Valley farms in Jones County, SD, in June 2014. She was by a Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) pollinator plot that was a conservation practice that was installed in 2013 to improve habitat for pollinators. Feddersen photographed the CP42 pollinator plot. She also noted how good the air smelled with the pollinator plants in full bloom.
