Description
English: Polish Air Force memorial, Terrace Gardens, Richmond Hill.

These six Trinity Novel Ornamental Apple Trees, blessed by Pope John Paul II in 2003, have been raised locally and donated by Jerzy Bartoszewicz as a tribute and living memorial to the 145 Polish Air Force pilots who fought in the Battle of Britain in 1940, of whom 39 gave their lives. This small orchard is recall the Orchard Hotel in Ruislip

where Polish pilots from RAF Mortholt always found a welcome.
