Deutsch: Vorderseite: Bracha [Segen in hebräischen Buchstaben]. Nach rechts Stehender mit geschultertem Schwert, links hinter ihm hebräische Buchstaben.

Kommentar: Die Brakteaten mit hebräischen Namen gehören zu den Besonderheiten des polnischen Münzwesens im 12. und frühen 13. Jahrhundert. Der 1177 durch einen Aufstand aus Polen vertriebene Mieszko III. finanzierte die Rückeroberung seines Landes mit Hilfe jüdischer Geldgeber, denen vermutlich ab 1181 zur Schuldentilgung die Münzstätten Gnesen und Kalisch überlassen wurden.
