Summary
[edit]DescriptionPoland PKPclassic 1998 2000.jpg |
Classic (Edmonson) train tickets, issued by the smallest ticket offices of PKP in Poland in 1998 - 2000. Due to inflation in 1990s and re-denomination of currency in 1995 (PLZ changed to PLN after cancelling 4 zeroes), the tickets were often sold for a different price than was pre-printed (see hand-written corrections, sometimes repeated). On the bottom, there is an example of a computer-generated ticket from the same period, typical for greater stations (this particular one was issued for a round trip "Poznań to Poznań"; in later years, the tariff changed to penalize such travel). |
