Description
English: Point Hut Crossing is located in the Lanyon Conservation Area, a special purpose reserve that is protected under the Nature Conservation Act 2014. It provides a crossing over the Murrumbidgee river for vehicle and pedestrian traffic. The low-level crossing is subject to flooding when water levels in the river rise after extended heavy rainfall. For generations stock were driven across this point to valleys beyond the river for feed.
