Description
English: Pöttmes Town Hall, a former brewery (Schlossbrauerei Pöttmes), in Pöttmes, District Aichach-Friedberg, Bavaria, Germany. The building is a listed cultural heritage monument of Bavaria.
Deutsch: Rathaus Pöttmes, untergebracht in der Osthälfte des Gebäudes der ehemaligen Schlossbrauerei Pöttmes, im historischen Ortskern von Pöttmes, Landkreis Aichach-Friedberg, Bayern, Deutschland. Der langgestreckte, zweigeschossige Halbwalmdachbau stammt aus der Zeit um 1805. Nachdem der Gemeinderat 2006 beschlossen hatte, die ehemalige Schlossbrauerei zu erwerben, folgte der Umbau zu einem modernen Verwaltungssitz. Die Gesamtkosten dafür betrugen rund 4,3 Millionen Euro. Im Oktober 2009 eröffnet, ist das neue Rathaus - wie schon der vorherige Standort - Sitz der Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Pöttmes. Auf dem vorgelagerten Parkplatz können rund 40 Autos parken. Das gesamte Ensemble der ehemaligen Schlossbrauerei steht unter Denkmalschutz.
