[Wer Gott verläßt und Sünde thut,
Beraubt sich wahrer Freuden;
Ihm fehlt Beruhigung und Mutz
In Trübsal, Schmer und Leiten.
Das Scheinglück, das er sich versprrach,
Läßt nichts, als Gram und Reue nach.]


Wer Sünde thut, sieht Schrecken[voll]
sein letztes Ende kommen
die Hoffnung, die Ihn trösten
soll, ist seinem Geist benommen
Er liebte Gott und Jesum
nicht, und auf dem Todt
folgt das Gericht
